This quartz-resin agglomerate is an innovative material that combines silica sand and quartz with polyester resin. Polishing this material has always been one of Tecnosint Group’s strenghts and in 2000, it was the first company in the world to polish these surfaces using diamond resin-bonded tools (bringing the gloss level to over 60 and setting a new polishing standard for this product) and then to propose brushing using diamond brushes which enabled manufacturers to obtain a number of alternative finishes besides glossy, which account for a substantial part of the market for this material.
The range of products we offer for finishing the quartz-resin agglomerate is a testimony to the important innovations we have introduced over the years and go from the recently created “ORION” sintered tools, which guarantee maximum possible cutting, to the FKABS resin-bonded abrasives with an incomparable gloss level and finishing quality in the slabs to the “DIALON” and “SIC BLACK” brushes which can be used to obtain any required surface.

The “ORION” abrasives are created using a new and revolutionary technology which gives them characteristics including an excellent cutting capacity, an incredible longevity, and superior gloss results.
These characteristics create a homogeneous surface (at all polishing speeds) which are free from scratches and give much cleaner and higher gloss results creating a superiorly defined and natural reflection more similar to the natural stones compared to surfaces when using any other abrasive.
